The Danish Culture institute, publishing house “ATĒNA” in collaboration with the charity organization Palīdzē invites everybody who can read and listen on Wednesday, June 15th, 2011 at 7.00 p.m. to the Circus of Riga (4 Merķela Street) in the emphatically breathtaking and little bit deterrent environment of the circus to meet “The Quiet Girl”, understand the silence, hear the sounds, words and people around us.

Text by Peter Høeg “The Quiet Girl”, music by J.S. Bach, circus tricks, the voices of an adult dreamer and children with the aim to hear, see, not to be dazed, not to hide and to let yourself to be in this moment- the circus variations of the silence and sounds, direction by Viesturs Kairišs.

During the event will be collected the donations for a new piccolo flute for a gifted flautist, the laureate of many Latvian and international competitions- Maija Fogele and for the purchase of new music instruments for other musically gifted children.
